uh oh

This is why they put straps on bouncy chairs. Don't worry he had not been left alone nor was he hurt. I was sitting right by him watching. He was trying to turn over in his bouncy and the more he tried the lower he went. After a short struggle this is how he ended up. He was playing so hard.

stay tuned

Don't worry there is much much more to come :) I'll post more tonight. WE have been really busy and I have lots to share.

yes Lauren I'll be posting the pictures from the beach :)

Crib time

Here is Mason sleeping in his own bed. We were a little nervous but Mason was fine with it.

4 months old

I can not believe Mason is already 4 months. He had a great check up. Dr. B said everything looked great and Mason was perfect (I already knew that.) He is rolling over and he loves to sit up. It is so funny to watch him try to pull up to a sitting position. He tries to be big and sit up in his bouncy seat and car seat. He can also stand in my lap and support his weight for quite a while. We have moved him to his crib and he is doing great. Mason has slept through the night for as long as I can remember and he is doing the same in his crib. He goes to sleep between 9-9:30 and wakes up about 7-7:30. Sometimes we are lazy in the morning and we go back to sleep till about 9. I know I am lucky and I better enjoy it while I can. Jarrod and I are having so much fun with him. He loves to laugh and play with his daddy.

4 month stats
weight 16 1/2 lbs
height 26 1/2 inches
head 17 3/4 inches (cause he ha s a big brain)

I call this first picture "Hello ladies"

cereal time

Mason is eating like a little pig. We went for his 4 month check up and the Dr. said go ahead with the rice cereal. Mason LOVES it. He is really gettting the hang of the spoon. It took about a week but he eats like a champ now. After about 2 tablespoons of cereal he follows it up with a 6oz or more bottle. Here are a few pictures from his eating experiances.

FIRST LAKE TRIP

June 25th was our 3rd wedding anniversary. I thought it would be fun to take a short trip to Lake Degray. We hung out at the lake and got some sun. Mason was a little unsure about the lake water but after a little while he liked it. He floated around a bit in his floaty and then took a great nap in the shade.
Thank you Jarrod for being a great husband and daddy. I look forward to many anniversaries to come.

vroom vroom

Mason can now play in his exercauser car that his daddy bought him. He looked around at all the parts and drooled a lot. I am glad he can sit up more in some of his toys. It is better than laying around in a bouncy seat.
