favorite show
intently watching his show
don't interrupt my show
We discovered Mason's favorite show while sitting in the hotel room getting ready to go to the beach. It is a PBS show with puppets from the rain forest that live in the tree of life. The main character is a sloth and he is kinda ugly but Mason loves it. He will watch an entire episode.

Mason thinks uncle Joel is funny
Jarrod's family came all the way from Dallas to meet Mason for the first time. Uncle Joel and aunt Melissa came too. We had a great time visiting with everyone. GiGi made lasagna one night and Jarrod did shrimp the other night. I hope everyone had fun. I know Mason did. I hope to get together again soon.

Family Beach Vacation
Getting ready to go to the beach
a little night swiming with daddy
Mommy and Mason just hanging out
Mason and Will sitting in the surf
Mason got the hang of relaxing on the beach really quickly
searching for crabs on the beach with Will
We headed out on our first family vacation to Orange Beach. We met the Sangalli family in Jackson and headed down on Sunday. We had a great time relaxing and getting some sun. Mason did great and I think he had fun. He still slept through the night like always and took regular naps in the day. We hung out at the beach in what I called baby paradise. Mason had his bouncy chair under the tent with fans blowing on him. He bounced and napped while mommy tried to get a tan. So for all of you who are worried Mason did not get sunburned nor did he get too hot. We had the perfect set up and enjoyed the trip very much.

swimming fun
This was the first pool experiance for Mason. He was a little nervous but after a bit he loved it.
The big kids wanted to see Mason. They all thought he was cute. We only stayed a little while because it was late. We have been back a few times and swam in the big pool. He splashes and kicks the whole time. I think he is going to be all over the place next summer.

4 months old
I can not believe Mason is already 4 months. He had a great check up. Dr. B said everything looked great and Mason was perfect (I already knew that.) He is rolling over and he loves to sit up. It is so funny to watch him try to pull up to a sitting position. He tries to be big and sit up in his bouncy seat and car seat. He can also stand in my lap and support his weight for quite a while. We have moved him to his crib and he is doing great. Mason has slept through the night for as long as I can remember and he is doing the same in his crib. He goes to sleep between 9-9:30 and wakes up about 7-7:30. Sometimes we are lazy in the morning and we go back to sleep till about 9. I know I am lucky and I better enjoy it while I can. Jarrod and I are having so much fun with him. He loves to laugh and play with his daddy.
I call this first picture "Hello ladies"

cereal time
Mason is eating like a little pig. We went for his 4 month check up and the Dr. said go ahead with the rice cereal. Mason LOVES it. He is really gettting the hang of the spoon. It took about a week but he eats like a champ now. After about 2 tablespoons of cereal he follows it up with a 6oz or more bottle. Here are a few pictures from his eating experiances.
