Mr. Arkansas

Mason's favorite moment of the night was meeting Miss Akansas, Sarah Slocum. Ok so maybe his mommy was living in the past but she thought he was a cutie. Actually he acted scared to death. He better get over being intimidated by pretty girls.

State Fair

He was not so sure about the giant corndog but his mommy loves 'em

this is the fluffiest bunny I have ever seen

GiGi went with us to the fair this year. We saw lots of animals, had great food and even rode a few rides. Mason's favorite thing to do was feed the animals in the petting zoo. He ran around in there for a long time trying to feed everything and just having a blast.

just chillin

Just having some breakfast and watchin his favorite, Handy Manny.

Backpack, sippy, clean diaper check. Ready for school

"Come on mom. I'm ready to go."
Walking to his classroom like a big boy

Posing by his nametag

"OK mom, you can go now I'm playing with the girls"
Well Mason started going to school (mother's day out) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He loves going and he loves his teachers. He is getting so big now he gets dropped off and picked up in the carpool line like a big boy.

Memphis Zoo

We took a little family trip to Memphis in September. We went to the zoo and Mason loved it. We have been to the zoo in LR several times but Memphis is bigger. We had a great time just hanging out as a family eating shopping and looking at some cool animals :)

posing out in front of the zoo

Mason wanted to tough everything no matter how big

running through the aquarium yelling "fish."

Mommy this giant lizard is telling me a secret

Mason 15 month

OK OK OK I finally updated the blog. I forgot to add Mason's 15 month check up. Everything is going great. He is getting to be such a big boy.
weight-25 lbs 12oz 45%
height-33 in 80%
head-19 1/2 95%

He has grown a lot since then (he is 17 months now) he likes to weigh with me at weight watchers and their scale said 28lbs the other day. I'm glad cause he was kinda scrawny. He is all over the place these days. He keeps me going that is for sure. He talks all the time and sometimes I understand what he says :) He is still pretty laid back but something happens around dark each night and he turns into crazy kid. We think he is just trying to keep himself awake.

Hope ya'll enjoy all the new posts.

Nashville here I come

Daddy got him a guitar cause he would not leave the big guitar alone. He sings and "plays" the guitar. He loves dragging it around the house too. Who knows we may have a real star on our hands :)

Ready for school

Mason got a cool new backpack to take to Mother's Day Out. He thought he would try it on and run around :)

Fun at the Wonder Place

WE thought we would get together with some of mommy's teacher frinds before they had to go back to work. Ashley, Davis, Molly and Caron met us at the Wonder Place to play. You had the most fun running all over the place. I could hardly visit for chasing Mason around. I think he had a bad case of sensory overload :)

Tripp turns two

Happy birthday Tripp

Cousin JT

cruisin on the tractor

"who is this girl, why is she looking and me like that and what is on her head?????"

Oh no she didn't

Guess she thought she had a shot without the flower bow

She thinks my tractor's sexy :)

Visit to Camden

he was not scared of the deer at all. He fed them and kept sticking his hand in the fence to pet the big buck.

With Papaw Rock at the same place he used to take Mason's daddy and uncle Joel.

Beach Time

"Hey I think I like this beach stuff."

ok now we are ready for some serious fun

watch out ladies the Parrish men are hitting the beach

"Hey ladies"

This is the best set up ever. He played for ever under the shade in the boat.
