Wild Hair

Mason's hair is getting lighter everyday. After his bath tonight it was sticking up all over the top of his head. We had to get a picture of it.

Wye Mountain

We took a trip out to Wye Mt. this past week. Kerri, Will, Erin, ME and Lauren attempted to get some pictures with the kids. Mason was not real happy about it. First he pooped and then he has hungry. I was hot and tired but determined to get at least one picture. I agree with the other girls.....next time I'll leave it to the professionals.

Cuteness!!

Just some of the many pictures Jarrod has taken. We take pictures everyday:)

Hey Girlfriend

Mary Elizabeth came to visit. Erin and I had to take the opportunity to have a photo session.

"Who is this boy looking at?" "Oh, he's looking at me."

Little Lucky Charm

Happy St. Patrick's Day. I know it is a little late but the pictures were cute and I had to share. Mason had a onesie that said "Rub my belly for good luck."

bath time

Mason was not sure about bath time the first time we tried it. He likes it much better now. He gets to soak in his little tub and I think he likes it better.

Bad Mommy

We went to the doctor today because mommy had a few questions. I was worried about his belly button falling off too early and his circumcision reattaching. Well the doctor fixed those two concerns very easily. I asked the doctor about Mason sleeping so much and turns out I should not let him go that long at night without eating. He said babies can just silently starve to death. Now that sounds harsh and Mason is gaining weight right on target but he does not cry when he gets hungry. Like I said before he sleeps 8 hours at night. Our doctor wants us to make sure he does not go more than 4 hours when he is this young without eating. I guess I am back to getting up at night. It is still very good for a 2 week old to sleep a full 4 hours without fussing. I am not complaining I know some people get up every 30 minutes and have fussy babies. We are still having a great time. Mason is a super baby.

What Mason does best!

Hard at Work

Mason's first outing was to Jarrod's office. We figured that was safe and not too busy. He even helped dad get some work done:)

Fulbright Friends

Some of my students and friends from school stopped by to visit Mason. I enjoyed seeing everyone and I know Mason loved meeting new friends. I hope to see you guys soon.

First Dr. Visit

We took Mason to the doctor when he was just 4 days old. We had to get his jaundice level checked. He liked Dr. Byrum as along as he did not try to take his diaper off :) The good thing is that Jarrod and I both like the doctor. He answers all our questions and seems very nice.

At home with Mason

Mason has been the BEST baby so far. He slept 8 hours two nights in a row and 5 hours last night. He only cries a little bit if he needs something. He doesn't even cry when he is dirty. Jarrod and I are enjoying every minute. Jarrod is the best daddy ever. He has taken care of me and Mason. Thank you Daddy for being so GREAT we love you !!

Here are some pictures for you all to enjoy.

Fun in the Sun

Mason had a touch of jaundice when we came home so his daddy had him basking in the sun. He loved it. I am sure he will be a beach bum like his parents. His jaundice is ok now so I guess his sun therapy worked. I thought I would let the sun hit ALL parts so I took off his diaper. Luckily I put something under him because he SHOT out some pee pee and it hit the wall a good 12 inches away. He thought it was great. Jarrod and I just laughed.

coming home

We finally got to come home around 2 pm Saturday.

When we got home there was a suprise in the yard. Kerri made Mason this darling birth announcement sign. She made it all by herself. I LOVE IT!!!

Best Buddies

Will has waited a long time to meet Mason. Today he finally crawled up in the bed with me to meet his new friend. It took a little bribing with my biscuit but he finally climbed on up. He was too cute giving sugars to the baby. He is going to be a great big buddy. I just hope they don't get in too much trouble :)
