Welcome Carter

WECOME TO THE WORLD CARTER JACKSON SANGALLI

Kerri, Shane and big brother Will finally got to meet baby Carter today.
Carter was born Thursday, May 22nd at 5:01 pm. He weighs 7 lbs 1 oz and he is 19.5 in. He is so cute and perfect. Kerri progressed really fast at the end and Lauren, Jarrod and I had to run up from Starbucks in order not to miss the whole thing. It all went so fast (lucky girl). I am glad everything went so well. Everyone is doing great and Will is already bragging about his little brother.
Mason told me he can't wait to play with his new friend. I think these two are going to be really close :)

"The Girls" and Mr. Carter

Jarrod is a pro with newborns now. 3 months ago he wouldn't even think about holding one this tiny and new.

Mason and Carter, soon to be Best Buds!!!

Mason had a long day but he is glad to meet Carter :)

LaLa is so funny

Mason was such a trooper while we waited for baby Carter today. Lauren was holding him and he thinks she is so funny. He loves his LaLa.

Big bath tub!!!

Mason had so much fun in the big bath with mommy. He floated on my legs and kicked his feet back and forth. It was so funny and I think this may be something we do often.

Almost time

It is almost time to meet Mr. Carter Sangalli. I will be going up to the hospital today to see how things go. Kerri is going in at 6am and I hope things don't go a slowly as they did with Mason. I will post pictures of the newest little one as soon as I get home.

Stay tuned.......

new art

I finally got Mason's canvas for above his crib. Nancy D.
did a GREAT job. I love it!! It looks perfect in his room.

scooter

This is how I have found Mason on several occasions. He scoots so far down he is almost off his sleep positioner. I know I put hin on there the right way when he first went to bed :) He has started getting his arms out of the blanket too. Most mornings he has both arms up above his head. Today he had both feet out. I don't know what this kid is doing during the night.

Smilin'

Mason is finally smiling at us. He loves it when his daddy talks to him. I actually caught a few giggles on video. I will post those when I figure out how.
He is growing so fast. We are loving every minute. I really love being at home with him.

New Law Partner

Move over guys there's a new partner at WW&P Lawfirm.

Trying out Mrs. Carol's big chair and headset. He is on a very important call.

"Hey, bring me that file."

"This is hard work. I need a nap."

Hey Ladies

Mason and I went to visit Ava and Macy last week. I grew up down the street from their mommy, Brooke. The mommies had a great time talking about baby stuff and taking pictures. The babies wanted to watch t.v. and eat. While Mason was laying in the floor for pictures he looked like he was flexing his muscles the whole time. When he was on the couch he just looked scared:) The last one looks like Ava wants to lean in for a kiss. I hope we have many more play dates with these girls. I think Mason will have his hands full with all his new girlfriends.

Thank you

I know how wonderfully blessed I am to have Mason. I know what a miracle childbirth is but lately it has become more apparent.
This all started because I've been blog surfing. My friends know I love to surf around and look at other blogs. Lately my searches have brought me to my knees. Ihave stumbled upon several families that have lost one of the most precious gifts, their children. I can not imagine the sadness they are dealing with. This lead me to learn about photographers who are part of a group called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep ( I hope I got this right). They are there at the hospital with the families on the most precious yet hard day of their lives. They are there to capture those precious moments in photos. It really touched me to learn my photographer Christy Hollingshead is part of this amazing group of people.
Is God telling me something? Since Mason has been born I have heard and read more and more stories about families losing their children after only being with them a few short hours. It is like He is saying "WAKE UP ANNA CAROL! Don't you see what I have given you?"
The other night I was reading about a family and looking at their pictures when I just broke down. Mason was sound asleep but I went in and picked him up anyway. I just needed to hold him close and thank God for blessing us with this perfect little boy. I feel so touched by these families I had to share. My friend Sarah Bradshaw has a video link you all should see (see link below). It is about the strongest christian family I think I have ever heard of.
So I want to say "Thank you." Thank you God for reminding me how precious every moment is and how you have a plan for everyone. Like the video says there really is no "plan B." I had my life pictured a little different but God had other plans. I planned on having my mom here with me teaching me to be a great mommy. That was not His plan. Instead He taught me that I had more strength than I ever could imagine.

photo shoot by mommy

Enjoy. Maybe this could be my side job :)

2 Month Birthday

I can not believe how time flies. Mason was 2 months old Tuesday. Like everyone else we had our 2 month check up and SHOTS!!! I was so upset I almost cried in the waiting room before we ever saw the Dr. The actual process was not so bad. He cried for each of the 4 shots but he really did not like the last one. The nurse said she is sure that one stings the most because every baby cries more on that one. He was fine as soon as it was over.

Mason's 2 month stats.
weight-12.7 lbs
height 24 in
head 16 in

I joke about him being my little piggy but I guess it is true. The doctor said he looked great and I got an A plus for feeding (I'm still nursing). I took lots of pictures so I hope you enjoy. He got a little off balance on some of them but I think they are cute.
